What a week!

Have you ever had your week all planned out and then just had everything change in a blink? That's what happened to me this week. I was all ready to post the giveaway and my father fell off the top step of a ladder at their cabin! He is so lucky to be alive, however he had to have surgery on an ankle with a very nasty break, well actually it was broken in two or 3 places. Since he takes care of my Mom, they both need to be taken care of now. I will post the Giveaway right after the Holiday! Hope your week was less stressful and exhausting than mine was.

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas! It's a great chance to be together as a family and enjoy each other's company! We did just that. We spent time with our daughter Cherie and her husband on Christmas Eve and early Christmas Morning, and then went to spend time with my parents, my sister and her family, and my brother and his family. It was crowded but fun. . . (Well the water in the basement wasn't fun, but the rest was!)

Back from Denver!

We just got back from the Colorado Country Christmas Show in Denver last night. We enjoyed meeting more new friends in Denver and some of the ones that we met last year stopped by again. To those of you that live there and missed it, well dang! We missed you too! We were so exhausted when we started to tear down and pack up that we didn't know whether to laugh or cry when we saw the mess we had to pack up! To think that I got the lecture from Cherie about " Now Mom you need to keep the checkout area neat." You should have seen her area! Can I just say disaster! When I brought it to her attention she got the giggles and couldn't stop laughing, she then got the hiccups and well. . . you see where this is going. Needless to say we were a long time packing up and getting out of there! We are trying to get ready for the Salt Lake Show, but are totally exhausted from all this traveling. I hate to admit it, but I think I might be getting old! Thanks again to our Denver customers!

We finally received our shippment of beads after waiting for a long time! I've decided to feature both bands, because I couldn't decide which one to feature. Good morning! I'm a little slower getting this posted. I woke up so stiff this morning I could barely move! Getting old is not fun! Ok I was trying to decide what to feature this week and I remembered that the latest "Twilight" movie is set to be released soon so I have decided to feature our "Edward" band for all the people on "Team Edward" This band is so pretty and white and sparkely, just like your favorite vampire! If you are not a huge fan of the "Twilight" series, well this band is beautiful anyway! It has glass pearls, mountain jade, a beautiful foil bead, and well you get the idea! It's just pretty. It's no longer snowing here and that's good, now it went from Winter to Summer. It was 94 degrees yesterday and 91 on Saturday. Too hot when you are outside building a house. Why is it that the day after you need nice weather the sun comes out? If you are reading my posts you know that I went on a field trip yesterday. Good morning! I have been up for a while so please forgive me if there are errors in this post. I stayed up late making cashew chicken salad and got up early to make rolls, so I'm a little tired. I hope that everyone had a great weekend and a very Happy Mother's Day! I spent the day with my Mom and it was good to be with her and my Dad. Spending time with the ones you love is so important. Well I spoke too soon about Spring being here to stay. Snow! Can you believe it? Will it ever stop? This is good news for you however. Cherie and I have been thinking about doing something fun and different on our blog for a while and we have decided to call it "Deal of the Day"! This is how it will work. Each day we will feature a product from our site that is the "The Deal"! These will be chosen randomly, so you will never know what it might be! It could be the band, face, or necklace charm cluster that you have been wanting, so make sure to check in daily! We won't do it on weekends, just Monday-Friday. I'm looking out the window and it is such a beautiful day. The sky is blue and the sun is shining and most of the snow has melted, and I am getting anxious for Spring. We spent some time in St. George over the weekend and the Spring flowers were starting to bloom and it really gave me the fever.
